This is a market ready for first-time home buyers. There are some great programs out there to help with that first time purchase, whether it’s education, downpayment assistance, and others. And did you know that you don’t technically have to be a “first-time” home buyer? You just have to not have owned a home for at least three years and you technically become listed as a first-time home buyer again. This is particularly helpful for those that lost their homes because of divorce, bankruptcy, foreclosure, etc. We’ve all been through rough times and won’t be punished forever.
So here are some tips if you are ready to make your “first” purchase.
As we discussed in the previous article, first impressions are extremely important. So you not only want to make sure your front entry and the outside of the home is looking good, but you also want to make sure that the front yard is appealing.
Many people think that home staging is too costly or that you need to be a professional interior decorator. No it's not and no you don't. You just need to do a little work.
Remember, you only get a first impression once. You have to make it good.

WHAT IS THERMAL IMAGING AND HOW CAN IT SAVE YOU MONEY?

Thermal imaging is a scientific method of viewing infrared energy that is emitted, transmitted, and reflected by an object. This is done with a device called a thermal imaging camera. These cameras are able to display images represented by temperature. This is done using color images with temperature differences being displayed. The cameras are very expensive ranging from approximately $3000.00 to $10,000.00. The accuracy of the high end cameras are extremely highand have high-resolution so the image will be easily identifiable. There are many benefits of using thermal imaging such as identifying energy loss, moisture issue, electrical issues and much more.
We were talking to a client the other day and he made a comment about his property increasing in value because of some things that will be done in the area.
